The official music video of Julian Wassermann's new single 'Guard' is finally online! Here we would like to give you an insight to the production and the story behind. Julian Wassermann’s video tells the story of a single father trying to make his own interests palatable to his son. He doesn’t realize that his son doesn’t share his passion. Already at the beginning it becomes obvious that the son only pretends to be enthusiastic about boxing out of consideration for his father - while he fears to confess his true passion: dancing.
The music video tells how a child learns to deal with his expectations and finds his own role in life. It was developed and shot by Virus.
When they heard the track for the first time, they were excited and interested in working together with Julian. The film was shot in a disused factory in Harburg, near Hamburg. As you may have noticed, the industrial scenery was particularly important in this video shoot. The boxing ring scene was shot at the harbour at "Work Your Champ", also here a very special atmosphere was captured. The skyscrapers are in the middle of Hamburg's city centre. The depicted apartment was specially furnished for the shoot, as the apartment had previously been empty. We are overjoyed about such a successful film project, grateful for a successful cooperation and would like to thank everyone for the support. We hope you like the video as much as we do.
